About Gocoppi
I'm Blaine Stencil. I run Gocoppi from Logan, Utah.
I built this site because most content about AI marketing tools is one of two things: vendor-sponsored fluff written by people who never actually used the tool, or surface-level "10 best" listicles that just rearrange the same affiliate links. Neither of those helps a dental practice manager or med spa owner figure out which tool to actually pay for next month.
So Gocoppi is the third thing. I sign up for the tools, I run them on real sites, and I write down what worked and what didn't. If a tool earns it, I link out (with a clearly marked affiliate disclosure). If it doesn't, I say so plainly.
How I test and review
Every review on this site follows the same process:
- Sign up with my own credit card. No comped accounts, no special demos, no PR access. The only exception is the rare case where a tool only offers a sales-led trial. I disclose this on those reviews.
- Run it on a real site. Usually a dental or med spa client site, with permission, or a sandbox property I own. Never on a fictional account.
- Use it for at least 14 days before publishing. First impressions are misleading. The interesting stuff shows up on day three.
- Document what I'd do differently. Every review has a "would I sign up tomorrow" verdict. If the answer is no, I say why.
- Update annually or when the tool ships a major change. I add an "Updated" date to the top of every review. If a tool breaks, I update.
Editorial standards
A few rules I do not break:
- No paid placement. Gocoppi takes affiliate commissions, not sponsored content. A vendor cannot pay to be reviewed, mentioned, or ranked higher.
- No AI-only writing. AI helps draft. A human (me) tests, edits, sources, and verifies. Anything that ships under my name has my judgment in it.
- No copy from vendor sites. Quotes are quoted and attributed. Specs are verified against the live product.
- No comped reviews. See "How I test" step 1 above.
- Clear affiliate disclosure. Every page that contains an affiliate link has an inline disclosure block above the first link, plus the long-form policy at the Privacy and Disclosure page.
How Gocoppi makes money
Gocoppi runs on affiliate commissions. When you click an affiliate link on this site and sign up for a tool, the tool pays Gocoppi a commission. That commission is what funds the work of testing tools and writing reviews. You pay nothing extra.
That arrangement could create a conflict of interest. The way I keep it from doing that: I only recommend tools I would sign up for with my own money, in the use case I'm reviewing for. If a tool with the highest commission rate is the wrong fit for dental practices, I write the review that says so, and the higher-paying review goes to the next category where it actually fits.
If you ever read a review on Gocoppi and feel like the verdict was bent toward the affiliate payout, email me at the address below. I want to know.
Contact
The fastest way to reach me is email: hello@gocoppi.com.
I read everything. I respond to most things within a few days. If you found a factual error in a review, please send it. If a tool we reviewed has changed materially, I want to know that too.
What you won't find here
- Tools I haven't actually tried.
- Reviews of tools without an affiliate program (because then I have no way to fund the work, and I'd rather be honest about that than pretend I'm neutral).
- Sponsored posts.
- Newsletter signup walls (not in v3.0).
- Cookie consent banners (US-only audience, see the Privacy page).
